Tarn Gite

The Chateau of Venes is an exceptional site endowed with a rich history since the XII century.

Venes is part of the commune of Lautrec situated in the heart of « pays de Cocagne » between Albi and Castres (Tarn department in Midi - Pyrénées).  Since July 2010, the neighboring episcopal city of Albi was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites - see Albi Tourisme

Come and enjoy this wonderful ensemble of stone buildings and get immersed in feudal times while benefiting from all modern amenities. This site offers a rare opportunity for people with a passion for old stones.

Whether you visit the premises to celebrate an event or for your vacation in our chambres d’hôtes or in the large gîte, you will be transported by the serenity and beauty of this unique environment.

Large function rooms to rent

From the inner courtyard, we propose two private function rooms for weddings, receptions, seminars, concerts or events:
the « Salle des Gardes » with its vaulted ceiling, tower and its huge fireplace and the luminous « Salle Montgomery » with its access to the beautiful inner courtyard.

Accommodation

For accommodation, you can rent an independent upper scale apartment Gite 4 clés Clévacances, for 6-8 persons with access to the heated swimming pool in the courtyard.
You will enjoy a high level of modern comfort with the charm of stone walls under the ancient oak beams.

In the main building of the Château, we propose four chambres d’hôtes / Bed and Breakfast consisting of a large suite of 50 m2 'Lodève' , a junior suite 'Toulouse-Lautrec' and two bedrooms, 'Caraman' and 'Douves'.
